  1. The update has completely broken this program. I am running Windows 8.1, your old version worked just fine. Now, when I open the program I cannot click any buttons. I cannot click the connect button, the login link, or anything else. When I try clicking them nothing happens. Also, when I click the window border to move it, the click is not even registered by the program. It just goes right through the window and lands on the program behind it. This new update is terrible, and I will not be renewing my membership with you unless the application is fixed when it expires.

  2. I’m a Premium subscriber. Having tried version 5 I have gone back to version 4.

5 seems aimed at people who want everything done for them. It probably can do whqt 4 does but you can’t SEE it doing it.

Before connecting, I like being able to choose (a) which countries are available and (b) which are the fastest/most anonymous/recommended servers. Version 4 lets me do that.

4 is transparent and manual (but still quick). 5 is hidden, automatic and not for me.

    • David,
We are sorry to hear that you like CyberGhost 4 more than the new one, but, of course, accept your opinion. However, there are two things you should know: 1) CyberGhost 4 will be abandoned very soon and not be supported anymore. 2) You will find a list of all servers after clicking on ‘Simulated IP address’ along with the info you are searching for, like the number of users online (less means more speed).

    • They will return. The servers are very popular and they ran out of traffic very early each month. We’re working on an extension. Stay tunes … Until then: Next month they will be back, all shiny and new ;-)

  3. Sorry, but version 5 is a mess. Your company should really re-think stopping support of CG4, which was (and is) far superior. I had excellent service with 4 for a year, but since upgrading to 5 I’ve had nothing but problems and am now considering dropping Cyberghost altogether. 5 constantly disconnects, your support service was totally useless (they advised to stop using a firewall!!!!– are they nuts???), and I feel like a beta tester using this software.

Seriously guys, you should give customers what they want, and if that’s that they would like an option to stick with Version 4, then so be it. Why shove something down my throat that I’m unhappy with?

  4. I agree with Renata. Cyberghost 4 was just so much better. I have personally reverted. From the icons, to the interface, to the performance. When something isn’t broke, don’t fix it. Please continue support for CG4! I don’t see myself renewing should the next version of 5 not improve, or support is discontinued for CG4. Thanks guys.
